| How it all
started.... When I bought my first Pfaff 7570 computerized sewing machine way back in 1998 I promptly created my very own pattern for a nice bible tote bag and sold them to friends and coworkers to help pay for my new machine! Of course the bags I made back then didn't have these nice designs on them! Please note that the actual tote bags are much too large to make completely in the hoop, which means a little sewing will be required on your part! The pocket designs are stitched on fabric over lightweight quilt batting & lined with matching fabric. The tab closures at the top are made completely "in the hoop." The tab closure designs are provided both with & without the pre-quilted background for those who want to use pre-quilted fabric. A PDF file with step by step instructions and illustrations for making the tote bag will be provided with each order. Just make the pocket/tab designs and then simply add them to the tote during the construction of the bag! These are pretty simple to make...you'll see! |
