Wedding Decor
Printing instructions: Click here

The initial wedding decor designs are very simple to make by following the step by step directions provided with the designs. I didn't feel that it was necessary to provide instructions of the embroidery part.  The HOW TO instructions below are meant to show how to construct the decorations after you've made the embroidery pieces.  These directions only show the wedding dress but the same concept applies to the tuxedos & wedding cards.  The 5x7 frames are designed to be placed in a standard 5x7 picture frame.  To see how frame designs are made click here: Frames
First - Stitch one wedding dress design.  Remove hoop and trim the excess eazy felt from around the wedding dress pieces close to the stitches.
1. Cut a 2" x 11 3/4" strip of eazy felt and measure 4" in from each end.  Mark a line across the strip at each 4" mark. There should be 3 3/4" width left in the middle section.  NOTE:  The tuxedo and wedding card strips sizes are slightly different. Refer to the supplies list in the text file for strip size.  2. Fold each end up at the 4" marks to crease the strip.
3.  Open strip flat again and lay the dress front and back (right side of designs facing down) on each side of the strip keeping both pieces centered within the 3 3/4" wide middle section and tape in place. 4.  Attach both dress pieces to the strip with a small zigzag stitch on your sewing machine using matching thread.
5.  Fold the dress front and back pieces upright at the zigzag seam to crease.  6.  Grab the 2" strip at each end and fold in half at the tip making it 1" wide folded.  Then pinch the fold down 1" on each side to crease.
7.  Pull both 1" folded edges together and overlap them in the center and tape or staple in place.  (Staples hold better!) 8.  Now fold the dress front and back up to meet each other at the top (should cover the center strip you just stapled).
9.  Place sticky back velcro dots inside both pieces close to the top to  keep them together. 10.  Tie a 14" ribbon into a bow at the waist of the dress to finish!
TIP: Place 5-6 hershey kisses inside to add weight and keep them upright on the table.
