| 1 - Hoop towel and place 1 piece of Pellon Stitch 'n Tear under the hoop. Stitch the initial outline on the towel. | 2 - Place fabric over the outline just sewn. If using a terry towel, place vilene or aqua magic under the fabric which makes trimming the fabric easier later. |

| 3 - Remove hoop and trim away the excess fabric from around the outline. Do not trim away the stabilizer. | 4 - Place hoop back on machine and sew the final satin outline around the shape. |

| 5 - Continue sewing the design until apple outline is sewn. | 6 - Place starched fabric over the outline. It is easier to trim if the fabric is starched until it is nice and crisp. |

| 7 - The next color in the design tacks the apple fabric down. | 8 - Remove hoop and trim the excess fabric from around the apple. Place hoop back on machine. |

| 9 - Stitch the final satin outline of the apple. | 10 - Finish sewing the design. |

| 11 - With the design still in the hoop, trim away the excess vilene or aqua magic from around the design. | 12 - Run a warm wet rag along the satin stitched edges to dissolve the remaining vilene or aqua magic. |
